A Cross Crusade Alpenrose collaborative gallery
PORTLAND — The Cross Crusade opener on the classic Alpenrose course set yet another participation record for a one-day bicycles race. More than 1,500 registered racers and more than 250 Kiddie Kilo competitors dialed it up at the dairy in southwest Portland.
For your enjoyment, we’ve compiled a “greatest hits” gallery of photos from some of the best local cycling photographers in the area. This week OregonVelo.com’s Shane Young and Matt Brubach, Jose Sandoval of Team Cthulhu, bikeranger.com’s David Haines and longtime photojournalist Felipe Carlos have added their pictures to the mix.
Alpenrose is in the books, and the back pasture proved quite popular. Check out our collaborative photo gallery for more pictures from the entire day's racing.
