THE DALLES — The 2012 Mt. Hood Cycling Classic got underway Friday with the Columbia Hills Road Race southeast of The Dalles. A pair of ExergyTWENTY12 riders rode away from the women’s Pro/1/2 field, while two riders from different teams broke away from the men’s field and held their advantage to the line.
