2012 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships

MADISON, Wisc. — USA Cycling¬†awarded eight more stars-and-stripes jerseys Saturday during the penultimate day of competition at the 2012 Cyclocross National Championships in Badger Prairie Park outside of Madison.

Tim Butler, of Portland, led the Oregon contingent Saturday with a sixth-place finish in the Masters 45-49 race after finishing eighth in the same event last year. The rest of the Oregon rider results are posted below.

The 2012 championships conclude Sunday with four races to decide five jerseys. Racing starts at 9 a.m. (Central Time) with the Collegiate D1 men, followed by the Collegiate D2 men at 10.¬† The Elite/U23 women’s 40-minute race starts at noon, and the Elite men bring things to a crescendo with their 60-minute race at 2:15 p.m. Both the men’s and women’s Elite races will be streamed live at www.youtube.com/usacyclingorg.
