PORTLAND — After winning the Masters race Monday night at PIR, Christian Tresser (West End Bikes/Specialized) returned for an encore Tuesday and took the win in front of 66 finishers in the Cat 1/2/3 field. Tresser wracked up 18 points via hot spot sprints and the finale, just one better than runner up Jonathan McCoy (Ironclad Performance Wear). Veloce Racing’s Steve Wright finished third with 13 points.

Guinness Cycling Team’s Brian Schiller won the Cat 3/4 race with 17 points, just enough to beat Ironclad’s Mark Crawford in second with 16. Byron Breeden (Team Cthulhu) was third with 14. Thirteen-year-old Grant McElroy (Beaverton Bicycle Club) took another win in the Cat 4/5 race after getting his first-ever victory at PIR earlier this month. He finished ahead of Derek McCammon (Half Fast Velo) and BBC teammate Emerson Webb.
