SUNDAY

Winter Cross, GPMC #9Washougal, Wash.
The Washougal Motocross Complex that hosted Ninkrossi back in October returns with a brand new course for Winter Cross, the final event of the nine-race Grand Prix Molly Cameron. Sunday’s course will use all of the service roads in and around the complex. Unlike last time they raced here, riders will hit the MX course a few times. Be prepared for lots of fast gravel, mud, tunnels, bogs and a bit of grass. Racing starts with the Beginner men’s 40-minute event at 8:40 a.m. and concludes with the 40-minute B men and Singlespeed groups at 2:45 p.m. The Category A women, men and Masters 35+ men race for 60 minutes beginning at 12:40 p.m. Donald Reeb (Cyclocorssracing.com) currently leads the men’s A overall competition. Rhonda Morin (Sorella Forte) leads the women’s A series.
