Romer wins PIR Tuesday Nighter

PORTLAND — Elijah Romer (Team Oregon/ Laurelwood Brewing) took the first Cat 1-2-3 win of July’s PIR Tuesday Nighter series, piling up 16 points on his way to the victory. Rocky Mountain Bicycles’ Ben Thompson was second with 15 points. West End Bicycles’ Joe Dengel was third with 14.

Ron Sines (Pacific Power Blue Sky) scored the win in the Cat 3-4 race with 24 points. Brian Barnett (Portland Velo) finished second with 17. Dean Anderson (Team Bike Tires Direct) was third with 10. Beaverton Bicycle Club’s Adam Angert got the win in the Cat 4-5 race ahead of teammate Emerson Webb and Team Oregon’s Nathan Johnsen.
