WASHOUGAL, Wash. — Donald Reeb kept his win streak alive in the Grand Prix Molly Cameron by taking his third straight victory Saturday afternoon in Washougal. Reeb started the series with a third-place finish at David Douglas and has since piled up wins at Hood River, Heiser Farms and Ninkrossi for a commanding overall lead in the men’s Cat A competition.

Reeb covered nine laps of the climbers course situated on 235 open acres of the Washougal Motocross Park. Buy Local Cycling’s Ross Brody, who started the day sixth overall in the GPMC, grabbed second behind Reeb. Fifteen-year-old Junior William Barta (Byrds) of Boise finished an impressive third in front of Ian Leitheiser (Moots/Cyclepath) and Alex Wentz (Team Oregon/Laurelwood Brewing). Brett Luelling (Portland Bicycle Studio), who went into the race second overall, DNF’d after one lap.

Women’s series leader Rhonda Morin (Sorella Forte) added to her overall GPMC lead with a second-place finish Saturday behind River City Bicycles’ Brigette Brown, who came into the race ninth overall, 32 points behind the leader.
