Leonard gets Tuesday PIR win

PORTLAND — Rapha Racing NW’s John Leonard denied a hat trick for Stephen Beardlsey by winning this week’s PIR Tuesday Nighter. Beardsley (Gentle Lovers) came into the evening having won the past two weeks but had to settle for second.

Leonard added up 15 points to take the win, two better than Beardsley in second. Guinness Cycling’s Chris Ward was third with 12.

In the Cat 4 race, Ian Mastenbrook (Hammer Velo) did pull off the hat trick with another win Tuesday night in front of John Hartnett and Dwayne Farr of Soraz Racing. Kyle Medlin won the Cat 3/4 race ahead of Brian Kesselman and Jeff Brown (Team Oregon/Laurelwood).
