Gallant gets PIR Tuesday win

PORTLAND — Brendan Gallant returned from his trip to the ICC Superweek in Wisconsin just in time to take the first win of the August PIR Tuesday Nighter series.

Gallant (HPChiro/Alpine Mortgage Planning) finished the evening with 21 points, six better than runner up Cliff Heaberlin (Guinness Cycling Team). Ironclad Performance Wear’s Jonathan McCoy finished third with 14 points.

In the Cat 3/4 race, Mark Crawford (Ironclad Performance Wear) got the win with 17 points, Jason Borum (Jens Voigt’s Army) was second with 15 and Byron Breeden (Team Cthulhu) was third with 14. Beaverton Bicycle Club junior rider Emerson Webb won the Cat 4/5 race ahead of unregistered rider #98 in second and Trevor Schauer (West End Bikes/Specialized) in third.
