Bedford wins final PIR Tuesday Nighter

PORTLAND — Team Oregon/Laurelwood Brewing’s Stephen Bedford took the final win of the season at the PIR Tuesday Nighter. Bedford finished the evening with 20 points, eight better than runner up Todd Littlehales (Rapha Racing NW) and third-placed Rocky Serna (West End Bikes/Specialized).

Ironclad Performance Wear took the top two spots in the Cat 3/4 race with Rob Thompson getting the win and Mark Crawford taking second. Jim Moore (West End Bikes/Specialized) finished third. Benjamin Farver won the Cat 4/5 race ahead of Edward Rogers and Michael Scalzo.

Tuesday night racing at PIR continues for the next four weeks as the Cat and Mouse Handicap series runs Sept. 6-27.
