Bedford, Walle win OBRA crit champs

BEND — Stephen Bedford (Team Oregon/Laurelwood Brewing) won the gold Saturday at the Senior men’s OBRA Criterium Championships on the Northwest Crossing course in Bend. Brianna Walle (Ironclad Performance Wear) won the Senior women’s championship.

Bedford won the men’s 60-minute event ahead of Gentle Lovers’ Sam Nicoletti, the champion in 2009, and Hutch’s-Eugene rider Paul Bourcier. Walle took her gold medal in front of Brenna Lopez-Otero (Bend Memorial Clinic Total Care) and teammate Anna Christiansen.
