Rubicon-Orbea’s Tuckerman wins PIR Tuesday Nighter
PORTLAND — Rubicon-Orbea brought four riders to the PIR Tuesday Nighter and scored four of the top five spots, with Aaron Tuckerman getting the win and track fastman Dean Tracy in second. Veloce Racing’s Eric Sheagley breached the Rubicon wall and squeezed in ahead of Mike Northey and Roman van Uden for third.
Ironclad Performance Wear’s Robert Carver took the top prize in the cat 3/4 race ahead of Stephen Fitzgerald (Liberty Cycle) and teammate Mark Crawford. Brandon Smith (Team Brain & Spine) was third. In the Cat 4/5 race, Matthew Rider (Team Bike Tires Direct) finished ahead of Jesse Trigg and Jon Kraft.
