Tresser, Van Valkenburg win Monday PIR

Monday Night PIR for Women, Novices and and Masters Men runs through the rest of the summer.

PORTLAND — Bone-chilling winds swept across the open expanse of Portland International Raceway’s Tarmac for the third installment of the 2010 Monday PIR Masters and Women Series.

Nightly races are scored on points from a combination of hot spot sprints and the the race finish. Winners are determined monthly from cumulative points. Cyclepath’s Christian Tresser took the final sprint of the night in the Masters 1/2/3 race. Rubicon Orbea’s Heather Van Valkenburg won the women’s finale.
