Skerritt, Grandjean on top at Portland MTB STX #4

Portland MTB Short Track takes place at PIR every Monday evening through Aug. 2.

Series leader Shannon Skerritt won the Pro men's race Monday night.

PORTLAND — Shannon Skerritt (Trek 29er) notched another win in the Pro men’s race of the Portland MTB Short Track Series Monday night at PIR, his second win of the seven-race series. Skerritt finished ahead of Steve Carwile and Nick Gibson (Yakima Bike Racks). Sue Grandjean won the Pro/Cat 1 women’s event in front of Sorella Forte’s Elaine Bothe and Colleen McClenahan.
