Rubicon’s Williams wins PIR Tuesday Nighter

Cloud cover moved in but the rain held off until after the racing at Portland International Raceway for the traditional PIR Tuesday Nighter.
PORTLAND — Freshly inbound Kiwi Andy Williams snatched a win at PIR Tuesday Night in front of Rubicon-Orbea teammate Quinn Keogh. Cyclepath’s Christian Tresser was third. Williams, a track specialist who races with New Zealand’s national team, scored 15 points over the evening, with Keogh at 14 and Tresser at 12.
Veloce Racing’s Joe Martin won the Cat 3/4 race with 19 points, seven more than second-place rider Joe Prettyman (BBC). Alex Wentz (Pilot Racing) was third with 10 points. In the Cat 4/5 race. Aubrey Edwards won with 15 points. Kyle Brown (Bike Tires Direct) was second with 12. Cameron Duff was third with 10.
