PORTLAND — Michael Gallagher and Julie Browning took the top honors Wednesday night at the Blind Date at the Dairy #4 under clear skies and unseasonably warm weather, possibly the last we’ll see in these parts for some time. Browning cruised to a comfortable win ahead of Amy Rice and Jill Hardiman.
Ballagher had more trouble winning his second consecutive Blind Date, battling with a large lead group of five riders that was eventually whittled down to just himself and Steve Carwile. Gallagher seized the advantage just before the line in a two-up sprint with Carwile. Doug Wilmes was third.
