Brubaker wins, Sheppard back for Psycho Cross #4

EUGENE — Tina Brubaker (Vanilla Workshop) topped off her Women’s A win at Bend’s Crossaflixion Cup on Saturday by taking the Psycho Cross #4 Sunday in Eugene. Sunny Gilbert (Pacific Power/Blue Sky) finished second. Lifecycle’s Heather Hill was third.

Chris Sheppard (Santa Cruz/Shimano/WTB) returned to racing after recovering from a hand injury and took the Psycho Cross Men’s A race in front of Vanilla Workshop’s Shannon Skerritt, who won the singlespeed event earlier in the day. Donald Reeb (Santa Cruz) was third.

The Psycho Cross series continues Dec. 19 in Eugene.
